Old familyphotos!

I found these old family photos that I wanted to share with you!

First one, my great grandparents (Harry and Valborg) and my granddad (Hans).

First go at the new sewing machine and first time making clothes!

Yes, I have at last used my new sewing machine! About time! And when I started I couldnt stop until I was done. And here is the result. The top I came up with myself and the skirt is from a basic 80s pattern. I only had a black zipper at home, so I will exchange that for another one soon. This is not very well done cause I havnt used a sewing machine since I was in school (more than 10 years) and I have never made clothes. So Im quite proud! Im not sure If I should make pockets for the skirt?

Me and my shoes.. oh my!

Yes, Im a shoe girl. I love shoes. All sorts! So now three new pairs are on their way home to me. Two pair of the same model but in different colours. And, a pair of Jeffrey Campbells, not so vintage but I could not resist, they where 70% off.

 And, at last.. THE MONSTER SHOES!!!!

They will probably just stand on a shelf in my house and look really cool.

 

Messy foamroller set turned out good in the end!

Last night around 12 I decided to put som foam/sponge rollers in my hair cause I havnt had the energy to fix my hair for ages. It got proper messy! But I thought, at least it will give som curls. 

When I brushed it out this morning it turned out really good!

I can feel the summer knocking!

Oh yes, its been warm here for over a week. I've been outdoors in a dress this year, I never thought it would get hot enough again!

I found some lovely items at Tara starlet that i want.

And look what I bought from Beyond Retro a few weeks back!

A late 40s or early 50s light pink and gold wrap dress! Just need a bit of ironing/steaming.

 This is from last summer, but this is what I look forward to!

 

Sew or not to sew..

Yes, I have been thinking for a while, and I think I might try out my sewing skills. Or at least learn how to! Soo, Im looking for a sewing machine and Ive got my eye on this beauty.

My first patterns got here today as well, they looked really frightening when I just looked through them this morning. I was thinking 'what have I gotten myself into'. 

Needs for Spring!

I WANT WARMER WEATHER!!! So I can strut around the woods in this outfit!
